Attraction can make you interested in someone, but character determines what living with that person may eventually feel like.
Before marriage, pay attention to how the person handles anger, disappointment, money, responsibility, boundaries and disagreements.
Also notice how they treat people when there is nothing to gain.
Do not only ask, “Do I love this person?” Also ask:
“Can we communicate?”
“Can we solve problems together?”
“Do our values align?”
“Can I trust this person's character?”
