Children learn much more from what they consistently observe than from what adults occasionally tell them.
They notice how parents communicate.
They notice how disagreements are handled.
They notice affection, respect, apologies, kindness and tension.
No family will be perfect, but parents can intentionally create an environment where children learn that love includes respect, responsibility and healthy communication.
